New Points and Trophy Format

Following the decision made by the committee at the AGM on Wednesday 10th February, the trophy format has been reviewed for the 2010 season. The club would like to adopt a Championship approach where at each event, riders compete for points within their respective Class for an overall award at the end of the year.

Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each class based upon the following points scoring system:

1st - 15 points

2nd - 12 points

3rd - 10 points

4th - 8 points

5th - 6 points

6th - 4 points

7th - 2 points

8th - 1 point

Additional points are rewarded as follows

starting - 1 extra point

finishing - 1 extra point

The Club Championship will also follow a similar format using the same points matrix, however an Overall Clubman of the Year will have accumulated the most points over the year and Best in Each Class will receive a Championship Class Award.
